How the Lost Glorifies God
When I was in Cub Scouts I was impressed by a group that came to our pack meeting and demonstrated Judo. One fellow would grab another fellow and throw him to the mat. It was obvious that he had learned a great deal. However our teacher showed us that the one that was thrown to mat had also learned a great deal. He had learned how to fall, and he had learned how to break his fall as well. Both students were demonstrating what they had learned in their class.

“What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction.” Romans 9:22
How believers Bring Glory to God
We are saved by grace through faith, according to what God said in Ephesians 2:8, and according to Romans 4:20, it is faith that brings glory to God.
What the Glory of God Is
The glory of God can be described as all of the attributes of God working together in perfect harmony as they manifest each of God’s attributes to the greatest degree. In other words, when God loves, He loves to the greatest degree, and that would mean that in His love for us, He laid down His life for us (John 15:13). On the other hand when He judges, He must just completely justly. In other words a just judge cannot show mercy. You see, that is why He died to pay for our sins. He loves us, so He saves us by His grace, but He is just, so had to make the payment of sin of death. Furthermore, it is not right for a sinless person to die and pay for the sins of a guilty person. So, not only did Jesus pay for our sin, but He removed our guilt and took it upon Himself so that the guilty party died on the cross. He was not guilty by action, but by imputation. Our sins were imputed to Him and His righteousness was imputed (or counted) to us for righteousness.
That is how we glorify God when we trust His death payment to get us to heaven.
How the Lost Glorify God
On the other hand, when those who choose not to trust Christ’s death for their sins, then He pours out His wrath and power on them instead of God’s love and grace.
So we glorify God by receiving His love and grace by faith, but the unbeliever glorifies God’s Holy, righteous and just wrath against sin.
Scriptural Reprise
